NEW SPONSOR OF BS POLONIA BYTOM IN THE 2021-2022 SEASON

Koksownia Bytom became a new sponsor of the basketball team of Polonia Bytom, playing in II Liga (third basketball division in Poland)

‘Our concept of corporate social responsibility also comprises pro-social activities, which include charity and active promotion of sport, especially that associated with Bytom. Hence the idea of sponsoring the local basketball team. We are aware that one of the main problems of many athletes is the lack of sufficient funds to fully exploit their potential; that is why Koksownia Bytom wants to support sporting talents in the area,’ said Rafał Szostak, President of Koksownia Bytom, after signing the contract.

The cooperation of both parties involves, among other things, displaying the brand’s logo during basketball league matches in the “Na Skarpie” hall at Frycza-Modrzewskiego Street, as well as widely understood activities carried out in social media and on the website of the Bytom-based club.

‘We are pleased to welcome a new sponsor to the basketball family. Basketball in Bytom is not only the senior team playing in II Liga. As of this season, there is also a second team (editor’s note: playing in 3  Liga, i.e. fourth basketball division in Poland) and women’s and men’s youth teams. Thanks to the development strategy of this discipline under the banner of Bytomski Sport Polonia Bytom, the local youth has a clear career path until their debut in the league, and the sponsors help us achieve our goals. The contract was signed until the end of the 2021-2022 season and can be renewed for further years.
